woohoo!, not wahoo.

so it's been a whirlwind, let me tell you. things have been extremely crazy since we left san francisco. hell, things were crazy in san francisco. there was this whole mess with trying to sell my scooter (which for legal reasons i shouldn't get into right now), alex came to visit, the day alex left my sister came to visit, we had to pack up our crate, clean out our place, give the finger to our old neighbor and say our fond farewells to all our pals.

now we're on the road and it's been crazy and fun. jon has been posting everything on his site and put all the pictures up on flickr from our trip so far. we ran into some bad weather and a car accident so we had to make a long stop in seattle. boo hoo right? is there a worse place to be stuck than seattle? maybe shangri-la. seriously, seattle has been treating us nicely. it's all due to stace and sean over at daymented. they took us in like a couple of kittens caught out in the rain (they're notorious for that). they fed us delicious halibut and told us all the hot spots to hit. considering all the "trouble" we've had, it's been a blast and we're quite lucky. i even got to see my friend sabrina who i haven't seen in god knows how long. it's either been 4 or 5 years, but she's the type of person where i can go 10 years without seeing her but we pick up right where we left off. we lead parallel lives.

today it's beautiful outside so we're trying to soak up the sunshine. it's supposed to start raining again, but we have to get moving soon. jon's car should be back to dandy by 3 o'clock or so. we're gonna shower up and spend one last night here. time to get going to olympic national park. hopefully the weather will hold up another couple of days. i've been dying to go to olympic for so long now and it's the main reason i wanted to visit washington. you know, besides mt. rainier, mt. st. helens, mt. baker, seattle, and all that jazz. stay tuned. more to come.
