first of all, did anyone even know that there is actually a breed of penguin called a "jackass"? second, my only thought on why someone would be stupid enough to abduct a poor baby penguin is because they saw March of the Penguins and they thought it would be a good idea to give it to someone at christmas (which is what the article says now that i go back and read it). poor baby Toga.

so the time is drawing near that we will soon be puppy parents. i talked to the breeder a couple of days ago and she said "whenever the girls tell me they're ready...". cute. so we're guesstimating march or april. maprilch? i'm ramped up to buy everything now and start knitting dog sweaters. ;)
